Welcome to DohaListing. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully as they contain important information regarding your legal rights, remedies, and obligations.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for an account or using any part of the DohaListing platform, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
Our marketplace connects buyers and sellers in Qatar for properties, vehicles, and luxury lifestyle assets. We act as a platform facilitator and do not take ownership of items listed unless explicitly stated.
2. User Accounts & Verification
To access certain features of the platform, you may be required to create an account. You must provide accurate and complete information. Users seeking “Verified” status for Real Estate or Motors must undergo our KYC (Know Your Customer) process, which may include providing national ID or business registration documents.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.
- You agree not to share your account with third parties.
- Multiple accounts for the purpose of manipulating listing visibility are strictly prohibited.
3. Listing Guidelines
All listings must be accurate, truthful, and comply with Qatari local laws. Prohibited items include but are not limited to illegal substances, weapons, and counterfeit goods. Property listings must include valid municipality documentation where required.
Privacy Policy
Your privacy is of paramount importance to us. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the DohaListing platform.
Data Collection
We collect information that you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, post a listing, or communicate with other users via our secure messaging system. This may include your name, email address, phone number, and location data.
Note on Location Data
We use precise location data to help users find properties and vehicles near them. You can disable this in your device settings, though it may limit platform functionality.
Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data transmissions on our platform are encrypted using TLS 1.3.
Our KYC verification system is operated in compliance with Qatar's Financial Intelligence Unit requirements. Verified user data is stored in secure, access-controlled environments with audit logging.
Compliance
DohaListing operates in full compliance with the laws and regulations of the State of Qatar, including but not limited to the Personal Data Privacy Protection Law (Law No. 13 of 2016) and the E-Commerce Law (Law No. 16 of 2010).
